JQ Xi

JQ Xi is an accomplished business leader and entrepreneur. He has worked in a variety of industries including display, semiconductor, and optics. His experience has spanned across entrepreneurial innovation, start-up operation, business development, and business ecosystem creation. JQ has successfully led multiple projects to bring new and existing technology/product to the market. As a VP of Asia Business Development with Anzu Partners, JQ supports portfolio companies to develop business with a primary focus in Asia.

Previously, JQ was a strategic Partnership Manager at E Ink, where he led the effort to create and develop the North American healthcare business for the company. Prior to E Ink, JQ was a Program Manager at QD Vision, where he led the effort to develop business in Asia. He launched the first quantum dot TV in China by working with TCL. Before that, JQ was running his own company, Raydex Technology, Inc., a government contractor, primarily focusing on SBIR contracts and grants. He also worked at Corning on semiconductor laser devices.

JQ received his Ph.D. degree in Applied Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where his thesis work involved novel optical structure design and development for LEDs and solar cells to increase the efficiency. JQ received his BS degree from Fudan University in China.
